10.03.2022 - At the Market Tonight

Happy Monday! It's a beautiful day for an outdoor market, and we're looking forward to reconnecting after all the difficulties presented by Hurricane Ian.  Some of our beloved vendors are still dealing with storm-related issues, but we're hoping they'll be back on track with us in the coming weeks.  That said, we still have a great lineup for tonight! Gaucha Empanadas is back as a pop-up vendor, baking and frying their empanadas on site. And we'll have plenty of our regulars on site, so you can restock on local provisions.

If you shop with SNAP benefits, the USDA has temporarily added hot foods/foods for onsite consumption to the eligibility list (through Oct 31). So if you're unable to cook at home, you can still use your benefits to feed yourself and your family.

AND, if you're up for a movie night, our neighbors at The Lovely are hosting a free screening of Mean Girls in the baseball field behind their plaza. Pick up some tasty food and beverage at the market, then head on over for dinner and a movie!

We hope to see you at the market.

08.29.2022 - At the Market Tonight

Happy Monday! We're counting down to another market, where we have some fun new vendors for you.  First, we have the first of what we're hoping will be a series of pop-up dinner vendors, Cocina Tume.  These Peruvian dishes are all 100% plant-based; free of soy, gluten, dairy, and refined sugar; and absolutely delicious.  They change their menu monthly, and this is the last day you can try their mushroom ceviche, sourcing mushrooms from Florida Shroom King.  We also have The Cookie Jar trying the market out, with a variety of tasty cookies, including gluten-free options.  And finally, after a brief hiatus, Mangrove Collective is back this evening.  I know I can't wait to feed my obsession with their Ranch Cashews.

We hope to see you at the market.

With Gratitude,

Gabby Lothrop
Market Director

Zack and Jenn of Zenn Naturals Farm stand behind their table of produce and pickles while they speak to a customer.

It's Market Monday! We're all set for our weekly market this evening, rain or shine. We rely on the market for many of our local staples, and we know many of you do too.  That's why we work hard to be here every week regardless of the weather.  Even if it rains, we'll still have a great selection of local goods and provisions for you to stock up on!

We hope to see you at the market.

With Gratitude,

Gabby Lothrop
