We're bundled up and ready to enjoy tonight's "winter" market.  After last week's rain, we feel pretty invincible!  We only have 2 more markets before our Christmas hiatus, so it's time to stock up!  In addition to all the wonderful food, we've added more handmade art and craft vendors to the lineup for the next 2 weeks, making it even easier to get your holiday shopping done.  You'll find original artwork, functional pottery, jewelry, wood burned art, handmade body care products and more at tonight's market.

Be sure to check with our awesome bakers and other makers about special orders for your holiday celebrations - many of them can take your order right at the market!  In addition to my normal haul of fresh produce and bread, I'll start stocking up on pickles, root vegetables, and other hardy provisions that will last me until the market returns on January 7th!

We hope to see you tonight!

Cheers,

Gabby Lothrop
Market Director

Whoa!  It's December!  You wouldn't necessarily know it from this weather, but it IS.  That means there are just three (3!) markets left in 2018.  We'll be closed on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, so stock up over the next few weeks!

Tonight we are featuring a pop-up from the incomparable Chef Jes Tantalo of East End Market.  She has a side project dubbed Falafelwaffle Orlando, and she'll be cooking up Vietnamese-style chicken wings at tonight's market.  Grab a beer from inside Stardust, or a kombucha from Orlando City, and enjoy it with a plate of wings!  Of course, we'll also have the usual awesome lineup of offerings from Avenue A Eatery, Second Breakfast, and Noo Cow.

We also have R&B Organics, Aller-Friendly Eats, and  Katinka's Nourishing Kitchen back at market today, so if you've been missing them, the time has come to stock back up!

And of course, we are always Rain or Shine, so we'll see you no matter the weather.

We hope to see you tonight!

Cheers,

Gabby Lothrop

We're just days away from Thanksgiving, and it's a great opportunity to share what we're thankful for.  It's pretty obvious: we're thankful for our amazing market community!  We are so fortunate to get to work with such incredible farmers, working with the land in urban, suburban, and rural settings.  And we are grateful to learn from the skilled artisans who share family recipes and the fruits of kitchen time to bring us all the delicious pickled, baked, preserved, blended, fermented and pressed goods made with love.  And of course, we're so thankful for the neighbors and new friends who support us and our vendors every week, participating in the local food economy by shopping and eating deliciously.

We hope to see you tonight!

There'll be awesome live music, delicious bites, and Stardust drink specials to make it more than a shopping trip.  And since Halloween is just around the corner, we'll have some sweet treats on hand at the Market Headquarters Booth for any costumed kiddos. Come out and enjoy our neighborhood market!

And just like that, it's mid-October.  We're enjoying the peak season bounty, which includes, but is not limited to, amazing produce.  We're also excited about the gorgeous handcrafted goods our merchants have to offer, from expertly-crafted breads to crispy, flavorful pickles, and from allergy-friendly baked goos and mixes to filler-free soaps.  It's one of our favorite seasons of the year to be in the farmers market business!

Come by for a tasty snack, some live music, and some of the best local shopping around.

We're looking forward to seeing you tonight.

Cheers,

Gabby Lothrop
Market Director

Happy Monday!  Do you feel it?  We won't say it's cooling down just yet, but it's just a little less hot, and that means more goodness at the market.

Join us in welcoming back R&B Organics Farm.  Farmers Dan and Blake have been regulars at the market every season for years now and are joining us once more. So we hope you're ready to stock up on lots of fresh veggies and lots more variety as the season progresses!

We're looking forward to seeing you tonight.

Cheers,
