Happy August! It's hard to believe it's nearly time for the school year to begin again around here.  We want to welcome our new neighbors at the Audubon Park School, and are especially excited to hear about their partnership with our friends at Fleet Farming!  Their students will have the opportunity to grow food in a school garden, and that's worth celebrating.

As we ramp up to the start of a new school year, we're also sticking it out until the start of a new growing season.  Max from Farm Fresh Raw Foods is back this week with some tropical varieties from South Florida, and Fleet Farming and Heart of Christmas are still going strong with summer crops, but the time to start thinking about fall has arrived!  Miller's Edible Plants will have starter plants available - now is the time to start transplanting tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants in your garden - and the Master Gardener program will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.

Last, but certainly not least, we are excited to welcome Theo Moon back to the market.  He'll be serenading us from 7 until close this evening, and we can't wait!

We hope to see you there!

Cheers,

Gabby Lothrop

We're closing out the month with some of our favorite local growers and makers at the market this week.  We're excited to welcome back Miller's Edible Plants this week.  In this summer heat and humidity it can be hard to think about starting your fall garden, but that time is just around the corner!  You can start now by picking up your starter plants.

Afternoon thunderstorms are a regular thing this time of year, but just as a reminder we'll be out there, rain or shine.  If the weather is too rough for an outdoor event, we'll cozy up inside Stardust with our die-hard vendors.

We hope to see you there!

Cheers,

Gabby Lothrop

We don't want to jinx it, but it looks like it's going to be a rain-free Monday for us.  Of course, that means it's hot out, but we're looking forward to enjoying some sunshine with some of our local favorites.  While the produce selection is changing, it's still delightfully fresh and flavorful.  Look for tomatoes, beans, and hearty greens, along with more tropical fruits coming your way.

It's the first Monday of the month, so the Master Gardeners will be on site to help you with all your gardening and plant care questions.

Hope to see you tonight!
