Happy August! It's hard to believe it's nearly time for the school year to begin again around here.  We want to welcome our new neighbors at the Audubon Park School, and are especially excited to hear about their partnership with our friends at Fleet Farming!  Their students will have the opportunity to grow food in a school garden, and that's worth celebrating.

As we ramp up to the start of a new school year, we're also sticking it out until the start of a new growing season.  Max from Farm Fresh Raw Foods is back this week with some tropical varieties from South Florida, and Fleet Farming and Heart of Christmas are still going strong with summer crops, but the time to start thinking about fall has arrived!  Miller's Edible Plants will have starter plants available - now is the time to start transplanting tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants in your garden - and the Master Gardener program will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.

Last, but certainly not least, we are excited to welcome Theo Moon back to the market.  He'll be serenading us from 7 until close this evening, and we can't wait!

We hope to see you there!

Cheers,

Gabby Lothrop
Market Director
