1.2.2023 - At the Market Tonight

Happy New Year! It's going to be a lovely evening to kick off the new year with some of our favorite local producers. We have lots of dinner options to meet all kinds of dietary needs and preferences, including Cocina Tume, The Bearded Vegan, Ceylon Hut, Sweet Shiba, and the full menu at Stardust. We also have fresh produce back in stock tonight, with veggies from Winter Park Urban Farm and Zenn Naturals Farm; and fresh fruit from Second Breakfast. And as always, there will be lots of awesome local provisions, like kombucha, granola, handmade soaps, and more.

As you can likely imagine, the weather has been extra tough on our businesses in the last few months. Hurricane Ian and Tropical Storm Nicole caused water and wind damage in the fall, and the recent multi-day freeze damaged or killed a lot of crops. The extreme weather also caused other stresses, like slowing production of eggs, milk, and other products; interrupting local fishing; disrupting access to critical supplies; and creating a heck of a lot of extra work for all of our vendors.  We want to thank you for continuing to support these incredible business owners through all of it, and hope that you'll keep participating by shopping local and investing in our community.

We hope to see you at the market.

With Gratitude,

Gabby Lothrop
Market Director

11.28.2022 - At the Market Tonight

Happy Monday! We hope you had a lovely holiday week and that you're as excited as we are for a lovely evening at the market! There'll be plenty of delicious dining options, thoughtfully-crafted provisions, and handmade goodies for you to shop and enjoy. Join us in this gorgeous weather for an evening of shopping and dining.

If you shop with SNAP benefits, the USDA has temporarily added hot foods/foods for onsite consumption to the eligibility list (through Nov. 30). So if you're unable to cook at home, you can still use your benefits to feed yourself and your family.

We hope to see you at the market.
